Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Jordan Belfort, the real Wolf of Wall Street, about why he’s moving out of California, what people get wrong about the Wolf of Wall Street story, and why you should beware of Bitcoin. Jordan discusses how lockdowns are destroying small businesses in Los Angeles. He gives his advice on business ideas for 2021 that you won’t have to worry about the government destroying with their bad policies. Jordan thinks more people need to learn how to make money online with online education courses or products that can be delivered through the mail. Jordan also discusses smart money tactics and the skills one needs to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. He discusses the possibility of a major stock market bubble as well as a possible bitcoin bubble. Jordan also discusses the California exodus of business and why he’s leaving California as well. California taxes and it’s crazy policies have made it too unbearable for him to stay. He also talks about the disconnect that Democratic voters seem to have between their voting patterns and the high taxes, small business killing lockdowns, and general tyranny they find themselves living under. Jordan shares the real story behind the Wolf of Wall Street and how he went from being an investor in the stock market to going to jail for money laundering. He tells the true crime story that people often get wrong and how he slowly went down the path from ignoring his ethics to becoming a criminal. He’ll also describe how his knowledge of how to sell anything fueled his rise and why so many successful people in finance come from Long Island. Jordan discusses why he thinks there is a Bitcoin bubble as well as a housing bubble in suburban areas. He is convinced that the government won’t allow Bitcoin to exist since it makes money laundering very easy. He does see the usefulness of blockchain technology and why a foreigner who doesn’t use the US dollar would see Bitcoin as a safer store of value. Jordan is also critical of the demands for open borders and student loan forgiveness. He sees these as just two examples of moral hazard. What do we tell people who paid off their student loan debt in full?
